I don't know when my next post will be. I don't think it terribly matters. No one is really reading this except for one person that I'm sure by now has come to his senses and stopped trying to look for newer updates that just don't exist anymore.
It's simply that I am too busy. There are two more weeks left of regular classes and then a week of finals and it just seems like I am never going to get around to be able to run. I want to run. I want to be able to feel better about myself again. It just doesn't seem likely for quite some time.
My mom said that my best days of running are ahead of me. I am going to do everything I can to prove her right.

ReplyDeleteYo dude. I'm checking in from Niger, where over the past few months, I've traded in the super fitness I had to prepare for starting Peace Corps service, enduring the transition to Niger, and staying in general health, never mind running fitness. It's been super hard at times to not have the fitness, but you'll always have the run. Running doesn't have to be about training and racing...it can just be about running. Whatever that is for you at this time. Check out my blog when you want to procrastinate: http://destinationniger.blogspot.com/ You'll see I've noted some things about missing the fitness or feeling like I'm running mad slow when I try to just get in 15 min on a morning run.
